Zyre, also known as the Isle of Murder or Gank Isle, is Loka's dedicated free-for-all PvP island, released on May 13, 2022 to give players a place to fight without the restrictions of The End's notorious ganking scene. It has no towns and no Conquest — once a player lands, the only way off is an Escape Ship or death.

Access

Players board a Dropship near the End Tower at Spawn and pick a drop zone from an item frame map. A full diamond set and diamond sword are required to board.

Getting Out

There's no return trip on the Dropship. Nine Escape Ships are scattered around the isle, but only one is active at a time, rotating to a random location every ten minutes; a compass shows the active ship's location at all times.

Mechanics

  • Full red-tag free-for-all PvP
  • Farsight, a tool for locating hostile players
  • The Storm, a damage zone that periodically shifts position, limiting where players can safely fight or kite
  • Elytra and invisibility potions are disabled
  • The surrounding waters, the Sea of Vanquish, are corrupted to stop extended water-kiting
  • The same no-durability-loss, pearl-refund, and potion-refund system as Rivina's Blitz Conquest
  • Over 70 achievements are tied to Zyre

Maps

Zyre isn't a single fixed island — the arena rotates between several purpose-built maps.

Cove

The community's long-running favourite, and generally considered the map best suited to active PvP.

Fracture

A Mesa-inspired islet of towering red rock and hidden caves, with craggy cliffs, ridges, shadowy gullies, and narrow passes for vertical fights. Released June 5, built by Kotten (lead) and Flgment (builder).

Fissure

A smaller map generally considered to fit the ganking theme well.

Keep

A newer, more mountainous map; less popular with players than the others for straightforward PvP.
