No Longer Part of Loka

This page documents a feature that is no longer active or a part of Loka. It is preserved here for its historical significance to the server.

On July 27th, 2026 the Slicer rank was removed. Due to the growing size of the Loka Community and the ever-changing nature of the playerbase, it was becoming too difficult to maintain the standards that were associated with the rank in the past. Slicer was replaced with Featured Lokan, a new recognition for outstanding members of the playerbase that is posted monthly along with Capital Day.

Slicer Rank (Deprecated)

Slicer was an honorary rank given to those who contributed a lot to the server. Once achieving the rank of Slicer, players received a tag to distinguish themselves from ordinary players in public chat, as well as on the discord and the forums. This rank was also seen as a prerequisite for applying to be a Sentry or Guardian.

How to Obtain

To obtain the rank of Slicer, you must have played on Loka regularly for enough time that you become a known and respected member of the community, having contributed to the server in some way. Then, another player would nominate you on the application and ranks forum.

Conduct

Slicers were expected to set a good example to other players by closely following all the rules and being a friendly member of the community.
