The Seas

On Loka there are unique ocean biomes spread across the continents of Loka. Each biome contains different mobs, flora, and fifteen sub-biomes which contain their own unique terrains. There are 5 main ocean biomes that are spread across the continents, with the exception to Zyre and Cove which both do not have custom oceans because they are corrupted. The ocean update was launched on September 29, 2023.

Ocean Types

There are 5 oceans spread across all existing continents and isles. Each has sub-biomes which will not currently be mentioned here to encourage exploration of the oceans while the update is still somewhat fresh. Here are the five oceans and their locations:

The Shivering Sea

• North Kalros

Jagged Depths

• South Kalros

Green Sea

• North Ascalon

Radiant Tides

• South Ascalon, North Garama, Rivina, and Aladra

Blistering Ocean

• South Garama, Balak, and the Nether

Other Features

• Windy Seas - It is impossible to fly in the deep seas to encourage exploration

• Turbulent Storms - The edges of the worlds contain a zone of ocean called a "Turbulent Storm" which if you sail into for too long, you will black out and you will wash up on a shoreline on another continent or isle in the general direction you are sailing
  • Players who enter the storm at the same time are washed up in the same area provided they black out within 30 seconds of eachother
