Festivals are planned community events — from PvP tournaments to building competitions — held at one of three levels of official support.
Unofficial Festivals
Player-run and informal, with no staff support beyond a festival portal at spawn for its duration.
Official Festivals
Player-run but staff-approved, adding a Festival Zone (no PvP, no item loss on death, and anyone who logs out inside it for over 3 minutes is teleported to spawn), an optional Battlezone allowing PvP, rules against stealing, a permanent ban for clients or screen-share avoidance while competing, host perks (kicking, chat colours, a tab icon), and a festival-long truce. PvP festivals with a bracket of 16 or more players may award the winner a matching title. Hosting one requires winning a monthly bidding vote on the Loka Forums.
