Festivals are planned community events, ranging from PvP tournaments to building competitions, run at one of three levels.
Unofficial Festivals
A player-run festival that hasn't been formally approved by staff, with limited support — the best option for relaxed, informal gatherings. Features:
- Festival portal at spawn for the duration of the festival
Official Festivals
An approved player-run festival, with everything an unofficial one has plus:
- A Festival Zone, which prevents PvP and keeps inventory on death
- Players who log out in these zones for longer than 3 minutes get teleported to spawn
- An optional Festival Battlezone, allowing PvP in the area
- Rules unique to the festival preventing players from stealing
- A ban on clients or screen-share avoidance for anyone competing, enforced with a permanent ban
- PvP festivals with a bracket of at least 16 players may award the corresponding title to the winner
- The host role can kick people from the festival
- The host gets chat message colours and an event icon in tab
- A truce period while the festival is running
