Kalros is the northern continent, sometimes called the Mighty Northern Continent, reached by boat from the docks on Aladra aboard the North Star. Its spruce forests and frozen peaks give way to icy coastlines: the Shivering Sea wraps its northern shore, while the Jagged Depths lie to the south.

Notable Locations

• The port to Aladra is located in the Taiga.
• The Ice Mountains form a stunning circular range in northern Kalros, guarding the Ice Wastes within, and are known to hide ice caves.
• The Moor is the only biome on Kalros where horses spawn.
• The Cherry Grove is a landmass on Kalros's southwestern coast.

History

• During the Great Asmund Offensive, a Covenant army came close to conquering the whole of Kalros.
• An expeditionary force sent north from New Ibbish to Kalros ended in failure, undone by the continent's harsh weather.
