Power Shards are one of Loka's base currencies, used mainly to fund a town's Territory Generator and to add Modules to it.
Obtaining Power Shards
The main source of Power Shards is the Ore Exchanger at spawn, which converts diamonds, emeralds, lapis blocks, gold, and iron into Power Shards and Power Shard Clusters — see that page for the exact exchange rates.
Power Shards are also awarded from fishing tournament placements and from daily/monthly voting rewards.
Uses
A town's Generator consumes Power Shards every real-life day to keep its protection running — see Towns for the cost table and how deposits work.
