Ascalon is the western, temperate continent, home to sprawling forests, open plains, and the mangrove coastline that has replaced its old marshlands. It is reached by boat from the docks on Aladra, aboard the Oakhart. Ascalon's northern shore lies along the Green Sea, while the Radiant Tides wrap its southern coast.

• The port to Aladra is located in the Birch Forest.
• The Ancient Forest remained untouched for centuries, only recently discovered by adventuring Slicers.

• Ships that stray from Ascalon's Port risk being shipwrecked on the towering Clay Cliffs.

History

• The town of New Ibbish was founded by settlers from Old Ibbish, first establishing themselves on the shores of Iris Lake in central Ascalon.
• New Ibbish's first major conflict was the Siege of Castle Grey against the northern town of Hilo, with Hilo backed by the reigning capital at the time.
