Loka has a number of ranks and roles, split below into the escalating rank hierarchy and the separate community-facing roles that sit outside it.
Main Ranks
| Rank | Description |
|---|---|
| Old One | Loka's highest rank, reserved for the server's original high admins. |
| Elder | Loka's ancient-player, high-admin rank. |
| Guardian | Loka's full admin rank. |
| Sentry | Loka's sub-admin rank -- chat admins who catch rule-breakers and keep public chat clean. |
| Slicer | A deprecated honorary rank for major contributors, replaced by Featured Lokan. |
| Settler | Given automatically to anyone who joins or starts a town. |
| Nomad | Given to those who have wandered the wilds for 2 weeks. |
Community Roles
| Role | Description |

Community Representative  |
Represents the community's interests; awarded through an application on the forums. |
| Content Creators | Given to a player who has created multiple high-quality pieces of Loka-themed content. |
Content Developer  |
Helps create content for the server; awarded through an application on the forums. |
